Keep up your skills these school holidays with our upcoming Northern Basketball Camps at Diamond Valley. Camps will cater for both domestic and representative players.
Held here at Diamond Valley, the camps will be coached by the top end of our Junior Championship coaches along with our Senior Championship players.
Monday July 1st – DVBA Rookie Camp (Domestic)
9.30am-3.30pm
COST: $60.00
Our DVBA Rookie Camp is the best way for kids who are new to basketball to build their confidence and learn to love the game. Our coaches and senior players will take the group through basic drills and modified game situations to teach the fundamentals of movement, shooting and dribbling in a fun and safe environment.
Tuesday July 2nd – Euro Exposure Camp
Assist Basketball and Diamond Valley Basketball Association are proud to present the Euro exposure Camp, aimed at engaging, challenging and motivating players to take their game to the next level. With special guest coaches from the 2019 Eurocup Champion, Valencia Basket Club, this unique experience will expose players to a European style of coaching and development that has produced a host of NBA and international players. In upholding the club’s “Cultura de Esfuerzo” (Culture of Effort) the camp will focus not only on the skills and fundamentals of the game, but the approach and mentality to succeed on and off the court.
The camp is open to players aged 10-17 years, who are willing to learn and have an intermediate level of basketball experience (aspiring or current representative level players).

Wednesday 3rd & Thursday 4th July - Representative Camp

This July school holidays, Diamond Valley have designed an elite and comprehensive 2 day camp for all U12-U18 Eagles players. In the two days, players will get the opportunity to work on their elite ball skills, finishing, and game play with our best coaches and senior players.
Monday 8th July - Shooting Camp
COST: $60.00

Our July Shooting Camp is a day dedicated entirely to improving all aspects of a players shot. Coaches will run through drills focusing on perfecting the mechanics of a shot and improving accuracy from all areas around the ring.
Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th July – Back to Basics Camp
COST: $99.00
9.30am-3.30pm
Designed for domestic players, our two day ‘Back to Basics’ camp allows players to focus on the most essential elements of any game. Players will learn the vital fundamentals and practice habits to succeed on court.
Thursday 11th July – International Style of Play Camp
COST: $60.00
9.30am-3.30pm
Following on from our visit from the Valencia Basket Club, our ‘International Style of Play’ camp dives into the dynamics of European Basketball. Players will work on their understanding of efficient play, their use of on-balls and their elite footwork and finishing.
All camps are held at the Diamond Valley Sports and Fitness Centre.
Supervision is available from 9.00am on all days. Make sure to bring along a basketball, drink bottle and lunch.
