NBL1 Eagles re-sign Matt Reynolds for 2020
Diamond Valley Basketball Association is pleased to announce the return of Matt Reynolds to the Eagles NBL1 team for 2020!
In 2018 Matt got to finally test his skills and abilities against the best backcourts in the Senior Competition, with his leadership being a driving factor in the second unit, averaging 4.3 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists, whilst also shooting a stellar 88% from the free throw line. An integral part of the team, the 2019 NBL1 season saw Matt average 5.1 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.9 assists.
Head Coach Grant Wallace is very happy to have Matt on board for 2020;
“He is Diamond Valley’s spiritual leader on and off the floor – our Club’s poster child! I cannot wait to see him in action in 2020 after weathering an interrupted 2019 due to work commitments. He is at his peak physically and will be able to provide us the backcourt leadership we require and be able to find the perimeter scoring options we have assembled alongside him.”
