SUPER SATURDAY COACHING CLINIC

On Saturday 21st Jan saw our first coaches clinic for 2017 was held at Diamond Valley.

Gathered to present to an eager group of coaches from both the DVBA and pleasingly from surrounding associations, were some of our club's most knowledgable and influential coaches.

Covering topics such as shooting technique, special situations during a game, through to how to develop decision making and training small groups, the group of coaches that attended were more than catered for in terms of variety and information.

It was by far one of the best I have seen presented in my time at Diamond Valley, the coaches presenting did a wonderful job and our young players who volunteered were very responsive and highly engaged.

For those that attended the session we had plenty of positive feedback for our CEO -Ross Wignell and Cecil Exum and myself. We encourage more coaches whatever the level to get along to our next one, as the opportunity to learn from experienced coaches is one we should jump on.

To Kim Phillips, Ross Wignell, all of the presenting coaches and to the players and coaches who attended, well done and thank you.
