31 years after her Dad’s first season, Hannah McClintock has joined our Diamond Valley Eagles Under 12’s!

Hannah’s dad, Blair McClintock, played for the Eagles from the age of 14 (1988) through under 20’s (1993).  During his time at Diamond Valley Blair’s under 16’s team toured Iowa in the early 90’s with Brian Harvey.

The McClintock family have a long association with Diamond Valley. Grandmother, Lyn McClintock, was a President, Junior Boys Secretary and Tribunal member for many years. Blair played domestic basketball with Greenhill’s whilst Hannah plays her domestic games with Laurimar Thunder. Both Blair and Lyn are very excited to see Hannah wear the Eagles singlet!

“Since Hannah commenced her basketball back in under 8’s it has been her dream to play for the Eagles – just like her dad!  She knew it wouldn’t be easy and committed to playing two games per week for the past 12 months, along with participating in the Future Stars and Rep ready camps held at DV to help her improve her skills.  Her determination and development has been instrumental in her being selected to play, but she knows that the hard work has only just begun!” – Amanda Dowe (Hannah’s Mum)
