RE-RELEASE: 2015 Premier League Pre-Season Fixure
The 2015 Premier League Pre-Season fixture has been released and will be held at Wayville Sports Centre on Saturday 28 February-Sunday 1 March.
Due to a late withdrawl of a women's team, there will now be 11 teams competing this year with 6 men’s and 5 womens teams taking part in their respective competitions, with each team playing 4 games over the 2 days including a final, which will determine placings. The weekend provides an opportunity for the basketball community to come together in a carnival like atmosphere for some quality match practise and for spectators to get a taste of what’s to come before the official Premier League season tips off on Saturday 14 March.
This year see’s Eastern, Southern, Sturt, North Adelaide, Norwood and Woodville competing in the men’s pre-season competition. In the women’s, Eastern, Southern, Norwood, West Adelaide and Woodville will be taking to the floor. All games will consist of four 8 minute fully timed quarters. Entry is free and all spectators are welcome.
