Crows mascot gets mauled

The Crows Mascot met his match last Sunday when the BH Women captured him as they were lining up waiting for the Crows to run onto AAMI Stadium.  The women were led by Sophie Milne who wrestled the Mascot to the ground before "it" gave in and allowed heaps of photos to be taken.

Thanks to the networking skills of Taylor Walker, the BH Women were allowed onto AAMI Stadium to form a guard of honour for the Crows as they entered the Arena in front of 40,000 people for the game against Essendon.

Walker also dipped into his wallet to supply Polo shirts for the BH team to use which was very much appreciated by all the players.

Walker had a first half to forget as the Bombers looked headed for win. But Tex turned the game on its head in the 3rd term with two big goals on his way to a four goal haul in the 2nd half. Late in the game Tex was shifted "behind" the footy and took two match saving marks that saw the Crows win a vital game in their push for top spot and a home final.

On Monday the BH Women were given the rare opportunity to see behind the scenes of the Crows training facilites, again through the efforts of Taylor Walker.

Go the Crows!
