Fridays reserves double header is a FREE night at the footy with Central v South at 6pm and West v North at 7.45pm.
There is some big names in the Reserves to with North naming Jayden Kelly and Brett Johnson. Kelly would have to be day shift Saturday. What chance 3 votes in the B&F for the 4 time LJ Medallist?
South have also names Arlen Bird and Todd Davidson and you would have to presume both have work commitments Saturday.
At 1pm Saturday South tackle the Pies and no less than 9 premiership players are missing. Missing this week are Billings, Blacksell, Browne, Corey, Stephens, Staker, Barrie plus Bird and Davidson. New CFC Coach Jarrod Hinton will be delighted to pick up the BDT to see that Friday morning. But before he gets too excited just remember the Roos were invincable in the Reserves last year and players like Luke Lines, Peters, Nathan Agius& Bryce Pollard are quality players. Also returning is Alan Mackiewicz.New recruit Nick Agius will play his first official game.
The Dogs have a whopping 11 missing from the losing GF. Along with Kelly & BJ missing are Garrick, Grundy, Napier, Clare, Beaven, Watson, M Billings, Z Borace & Olsen. Coach David Ruddock has turned to youth naming 8 players still eligible for the 18's. Those players are real quality though and will bring youth and quick legs to the Dogs. Ben Thompson a solid on baller from Nelson Bay has been named to debut for the Dogs.
A fit Codie Howard will toss the coin for the Dogs and the inside gossip is he has bloosmed with marriage and is ready for a huge year.
Unfortunatley both the CFC and the WFC have failed at 10pm Thursday to name their sides on Sportingpulse. A Budget Editors nightmare!
