Lake Kawana is located adjacent to Stockland Park at Bokarina on the Sunshine Coast.  Sportsman’s Parade runs along the eastern side of Lake Kawana from Main Drive before connecting back onto Nicklin Way.  Sportsman’s Parade separates Lake Kawana from Stockland Park. 

For traffic travelling southbound on the Bruce Highway, take the Sunshine Motorway exit, head along Kawana Way. Turn left into Kawana Island Boulevard, at the lights make a right turn onto Nicklin Way, travel along for a short distance, until the lights and  turn right into Main Drive, follow the road to the Sportsmans Parade turn off on your left.

For traffic travelling northbound on the Bruce Highway, take Caloundra Road turn off, travel approximately 7km, turn left into Nicklin Way. Travel approximately 7 km turn left into Main Drive and follow the road to the Sportsmans Parade turn off on your left.

It is noted that it will be likely that there will be a buildup of traffic for the Off Ramps from the Bruce Highway at peak traffic travel times for patrons attending the event.

Public transport options – train/ bus: Trains available from Brisbane to Landsborough. Buses travel from Lansborough to Kawana, and drop off along Nicklin Way.
