Hosted by Western Suburbs AFC at Picken Oval, the Western Wolves gathered together to be addressed by their coach for the 3rd year straight Jason King and captain Christine MacDonald. Jason addressing the 27 players present promised an exciting season ahead but it would require a LOT of fitness together in order for them not to come runners-up again. This sentiment was received positively by the Wolvesplayers, who were keen to wipe out last year's memory. He also told the audience about moves to integrate closer with the Western Suburbs AFC in terms of sharing the same uniform look with the Wolves emblem, faciliites and resources. Andrew Taylor, President of Western Suburbs AFC and BBQ chef echoed the desire for premiership success in both the men's and women's and working together beneficially.
Captain Christine MacDonald addressed her players saying it was time to step up for the 2009 rookies and for those returning after a year's break to fill the void of the players who were unable to play in the 2010 season. With that the meeting concluded with the Wolves determined to hit Wagener Oval hard in search of their 4th premiership.
