The Bondi Shamrocks season came to an end with a 53 point loss in the Minor Semi-Final but they have much to be proud of. The Bondi Shamrocks was mostly composed of the United Nations of players with 2/3 from Ireland, and the other 1/3 from the United Kingdom, The Netherlands and some token Australians in the team. Coached by Lisa Roper and Assistant Coach Krissie Steen, the Shamrocks won an equal number of matches and losses and proved more than competitive against the top teams. However they faded out in the last three weeks suffering big defeats. Next year the Shamrocks should focus on increasing their playing list to ensure that they have adqueate depth should the inevitable injuries to occur. The competition has been freshened by their inclusion in the league and we look forward to bigger things next year.
