Basketball NSW is pleased to announce the winners of the Coach of the Year awards for 2022 Coles Express NBL1 East & Spalding Waratah League.

The Coach of the Year awards are determined by votes from the Head Coach of each team in these divisions. Voters were not permitted to vote for members of their own team.

We would like to congratulate all the below coaches on an outstanding season.

NBL1 East Men: Peter Herak – Canberra Gunners
NBL1 East Women: Renae Garlepp – Norths Bears
Waratah Men: Ari Ripoll – Hills Hornets
Waratah Women: Abbie Ketels – Canberra Nationals
Waratah 1 Youth Men: Jarrod Moore – Penrith Panthers
Waratah 1 Youth Women: Noman Shoaib – Central Coast Crusaders
Waratah 2 Youth Men: Tim Hill – Manly Warringah Sea Eagles
Waratah Wheelchair: Joshua Meoli – Blacktown Storm

We would like to invite all our award recipients to attend this weekend’s finals presentation. An invitation will be sent to each association with details on how to collect your ticket and when you will be presented your award.
