McDonalds Rockhampton Rockets sign guard Chris Cedar
McDonalds Rockhampton Rockets are proud to announce the signing of guard Chris Cedar for the 2014 QBL season.
Chris is an exciting combo guard who has played 5 seasons in the NBL with the Townsville Crocs up to 2013. McDonalds Rockhampton Rockets Coach Neal Tweedy said “ Chris is a dynamic guard who has the ability to score but also has the unique ability of bringing other players into the game. He has been one of the best guards in the QBL for a number of seasons, so to have him now in the Rockets colours will be a huge boost to our chances of defending the title in 2014.”
Chris and his partner, former Cyclones player Naomi Cage saw it as an opportunity to return to Rockhampton to continue their basketball careers and their University studies.
The 2014 season is expected to commence in early May with the pre-season game against Mackay on 5th April.
