Rockhampton Basketball Incorporated will release Season Tickets for the 2009 ABA season on Wednesday 12th November from 9.00am at Hegvold Stadium. With the success of the Stadium Nightclub Rockets in 2008, interest in Season Tickets has been high.
RBI Operations Manager, Jamie Boon, said “The success of the Stadium Nightclub Rockets in winning a National Championship in 2008 has raised plenty of interest in season tickets for 2009 and obviously when they will be available. As a direct result we have fast tracked those tickets for sale as of this Wednesday. Existing season ticket holders will be given until Friday 14th November to secure their seats while the general public will have access from Monday 17th November from 9.00am”.
“The season ticket price this year has been reduced to $120.00 which is a 20% reduction from last season. While a season ticket holder gains access to all pre season games and all regular season ABA games that the Rockets and Cyclones participate in, the most important benefit is receiving first option for any finals series played at Hegvold Stadium or any Special Events such as NBL games. Given that ABA Finals were sold out in 4 minutes last season, the season ticket is the best option for people to place them in the best possible position to gain Finals tickets in the future”.
