Hi our names are Hayley, Elodie, Melissa, Courtney, Nicola and Rumah :) 

We go to Cobar High.. Over the last couple days we have done a course with Kyle Myers as an induction to business services- a course we have chosen to do in Year 11 and Year 12. Through CRL we have learnt the roles and people that help to run sport carnivals.

We were given ground management manuals, which we have learnt to use and access in order to find information and help us gain knowledge about the needs of the course. This afternoon we are putting what we have learnt into practice, by going to Cobar Public School and teaching some younger kids footy skills and taking on the roles we have learnt about with Kyle.

Next year, instead of footy, we are hoping to do the course with netball- which we are looking forward to :)

Hayley- The reason i chose this subject was because we can get a cert 2 in business which betters my chances of getting into uni.. I also saw the opportunities Ray Ebsworth was given through the course and thought i would enjoy them too.

Rumah- i chose business services due to the fact, it gave me the opportunity to get a school-based traineeship with the Cobar Shire, i was also very intrested in taking up this course with CRL. I hope this should help me get into uni and help decide a career for my future. :)  

Elodie- I chose to do business services because i have heard alot of great things about it and the opportunities that it gives at the end of the course. After completeing the course i hope that it will help me out with a caree in the future :D

Melissa- I chose Business Services because it will help me to gain skills that I can use in my future, especially in finding a job. Former Cobar High students had participated in this subject and the CRL course who ended up going far with their future indevors. I believe that these particular courses can help me to get into uni and help to make my career pathway a lot clearer.

Courtney- I chose Business Services as a subject for 2011 as I have heard good feedback from past students. I believe that taking these courses will benefit me and help me to achieve skills that I will need in my future. I hope that choosing this subject will help me to find a job in an area in which I am interested :)

Nicola- The past two days we have been getting an insight into what we will be learning in Business Services in 2011. I chose to do Business Services as I believe the course will give me vital skills that will help me gain accreditation and to get a job. I believe that Business Services will be an interesting course and will open up many opportunities for me. :)
