Gymnasium #2 was constructed for the 2007 South Pacific Games Basketball and Squash competitions.

Location

Gymnasium #2 is located in the Faleata Sports Complex, which is approximately 10km from the centre of Apia

Basketball Venue Facilities

  • 2 full basketball courts side by side with an exhibition court marked across the two in accordance with FIBA regulations
  • Referee’s rooms
  • Electronic scoring and timekeeping including 24 second shot devices
  • Spectator seating for approximately 1700 people
  • Toilets and Changing Rooms

Squash Venue Facilities

  • 3 Permanent Singles Courts and 1 Doubles Court
  • Toilets, Showers and Changing Rooms
  • Moveable Spectator seating
  • Mezzanine floor with offices
