Softball Diamond 1

The two Softball Diamonds were constructed specifically for the 2007 South Pacific Games.

Location

The Softball Diamonds are located in the Faleata Sports Complex, approximately 10km from the centre of Apia.

Venue Facilities

  • 2 IF softball diamonds
  • Grandstand seating for 200 spectators
  • Dug out area including; benches, bat and helmet racks and clothing hooks
  • Toilets, Showers and Changing Rooms

Technical Details

  • The home run fence is set at 250 feet with an 8-foot fence for Men.
  • The pitching distance for men is 46 feet
  • The home run fence is set at 220 feet with an 8-foot fence for Women.
  • The pitching distance for women is 43 feet
