The squad will have three training sessions over the course of a month before a final 25-player squad will be announced on July 15, one week out from the start of the Country Championships.
Moama forwards Angus Grigg and James Scambler and defender Ryan Hudson are in the squad while others from the MFL include Barooga's Shane Harvey, Deniliquin's Sam Lloyd and Tocumwal's Lucas White.
Newly appointed NSW Country coach Robbie Jackson said each player had earned their selection in the training squad and will now be vying for a position in the final team.
``I'm very happy with the squad we've selected,'' he said.
``When you start off doing something like this you are a bit apprehensive as to what you'll end up with but between myself and the other selectors we are very happy with what we've got.''
The championships begin on July 22. Finals will be held on Sunday, July 25.
