The Port Lincoln community is revelling in the presence of AFL club Adelaide, with Sunday’s match against North Melbourne declared a resounding success.
More than 5000 people watched the Crows hold on for a 10-point win against the Kangaroos at Centenary Oval, with the Port Lincoln Football League clubs all benefiting from catering funds.
Speaking on Community Football Radio, Port Lincoln FL football operations manager Robyn Rowsell said the atmosphere at the sold-out match was tremendous.
Rowsell also reveals there is still a buzz around the township as the Crows complete Day 1 of their AFL Community Camp across the Eyre Peninsula.
Adelaide will conduct a coaching clinic at Centenary Oval from 4.30pm on Monday night before holding an open training session at the same venue on Tuesday at 10am.
