Glenorchy had no issues disposing of East Coast in convincing fashion to the tune of 116 points.
Six goals to Kaitlin Rattenbury and five for Zabreena Manjerovic left the result in no doubt as the work of Shaye Jenkins and Kayla Dransfield was too much for East Coast to handle.
The spread of seven goalkickers for the Magpies made the game a formality as they coasted to the large win.
Burnie had to leave it late to overcome a plucky Launceston outfit as the 16-point final margin didn't quite reflect the closeness of the match.
Launceston looked to make the game difficult for the reigning premiers, taking a five-point lead into the first change before Burnie took their own five-point lead into the half.
With the game in the balance heading into the final quarter, with Launceston holding a slender three-point lead, the Dockers showed their experience to kick three goals to none and claim the early-season victory.
Jessica Brown matched her effort last weekend with three more goals for the Dockers while Ellyse Gamble's two were crucial. Tayla Marshall and Savahn Overall played critical roles around the ground, while Holly Savill and Letitia Johnston impressed in the Launceston effort, the latter kicking two goals.
Clarence made light work of Evandale, building on a 52-point lead at half-time to run away with the game by 115 points.
Natalie Pearce stood out with four majors while Leesa Walker (three goals), Zoe Jenkins, Shannon Harris and Sammy-Jo Triffitt (all two goals) hammered on the scoreboard pressure.
With nine girls registering majors, the Kangaroos will be overjoyed with their scoring capability while Melanie Wise and Racehl Archer were superb around the ground.
Devonport will be looking forward to rejoining the fray away to Glenorchy after sitting out with the bye.
