NDBCC 2010 - Information

This years Nationals was run slightly differently for the first time and was a proven success. A more social competition had people involved that don't always play basketball. While only 4 Victorian members attend, a fun time was had by all. Some words from a participant below.

Shane Crick:

"This year's NDBCC was so much fun. I was the only guy from Vic to play, so I joined Green Dragons. It was a good weekend - even tho we lost the Grand Final, it didn't matter because the rules have been changed to a 'social event' so we all had fun, heaps of laughs, and plenty of smiles on our faces.

Playing the mixed game was also fun. One of my highlights over the weekend was being named as the MVP for the Men Division. I also meet new players and spectators.

Overall, I thought it was really good, I just wished that we had more teams in the tournament".

The 25th National Deaf Basketball Club Championships, will be held on the 26th and 27th of June 2010 at Carrara on the Gold Coast.

In 2010, a number of divisions are open to participate in: Women, Men, Mixed Veterans and Juniors.
