GREEN SHIRT UMPIRE PROGRAM 2014
Applications have now opened for umpires to trial in November 2013 / March 2014 for inclusion into the green shirt umpiring program for 2014 and are very pleased that we already have a number of applicants.

The course registration is done online through our new system with My Netball. I have also attached an outline of the program for your convenience. You can apply here. Please note that badged umpires are ineligible to be a part of the program. We will run workshops and courses throughout the year to squad and club umpires to assist them with their development needs.
We hope this program will assist in upskilling as many umpires as possible. Some quick facts – there were 59 participants in the 2013 program. Of those 14 were awarded C badges, 1 has been directly TID’d into State Level and 8 were invited into the WDNA Development Squad. 3 more were in line to be tested but did not have the required accreditations. 7 umpires that graduated and won’t be moving into the squad will be going into clubs next year to strengthen their clubs own umpiring programs. 15 clubs were represented by participants in the program and 84 teams had a green shirt umpire at some stage throughout the season.
