Time for your digital check-up in the lead up to the 2013 season
Monday 01st, January 1900
With the new season almost upon us it's a great time to think about your digital offerings - mobile and apps.
1. Mobile - it's simple.
Just type in your club or leagues URL into your phone's browser, and you will get a perfectly rendered mobile version of your site. SP developers spent four months on this implementation, without any cost to local sport... and nearly 40% of our aggregated traffic is now viewed on mobile devices.
2. iPhone App
On a weekly basis, the SportingPulse iPhone app is a great way to keep up with some of the 30,000 weekly results published through the SportingPulse network. Whilst all of our sport partners have their own mobile presence, the app is ideal for:
- players playing multiple sports, at multiple venues;
- people who want to keep track of multiple leagues;
- or parents who drive kids between multiple venues on a weekend.
Features like map integration, the ability to save as many teams as you like, and the integration with live scores, ladders & stats make it a must own app for lovers of local sport. With the coming release of SP LiveScore, all web, mobile and apps will be instantly updated with scores as they progress around the ground, or on the court.
An important note for iPhone app users:
Every year, teams change. Your kid goes from U10 to U12, or from B-Grade to A-Grade. It is worth deleting and re-loading teams into the app now to make sure you have all the up-to-date data. Administrators are currently preparing fixtures and schedules for the winter season in football codes. If your team doesn't appear, it's only because the sport is yet to publish the 2013 fixtures. Check back in soon... Anything on the SportingPulse Network is also published to the app.
