Raiders Under Lights
The Raiders community are proud to announce the installation of a brand new Musco Lighting system which will deliver up to 300 lux - officially certified last week.
Raiders President Branko Suica is delighted that the lighting system is finally in place.
"It has been a long wait, over 7 years, since we did the first quotation process but finally we have the best system for the club.
“Initially it was hoped we could utilise existing poles to upgrade the lights but as time passed we realised we needed a brand new system.”
The new set up required four new poles to be fitted which Branko praises the entire lighting project team for getting the job completed in such a short time frame to enable the lights to be operational during the 2015 Season.
"I'd like to thank all involved, especially Brian Bilic (Project Engineer), Jure Jurkovic (Electrical Engineer), Football Federation South Australia and the Croatian Sports Centre for making this a premier football facility in this state."
In addition to lighting the main pitch, the new system will now enable Raiders to utilise the existing lighting on the other training pitches and provide a better facility for the Junior Program.
Raiders first game under lights is tomorrow, Wednesday 15 April in the rescheduled PlaySation 4 National Premier League South Australia Round 2 fixture between Raiders and South Adelaide, kick-off 7:30pm.
