FFSA to run Training Session in Broken Hill

Football Federation SA (FFSA) Female Participation Officer Tiarn Powell and FFSA Game Development Officer Cristiano Dos Santos will be holding a training session in Broken Hill this coming Monday, 18 May.

Tiarn, an Adelaide United Lady Reds player and Cristiano, a former Adelaide United player will be visiting the region to engage the Under 16 Girls and Under 13 Boys age groups to combine with the talent identification process for the 2015 Regional Program.

The Regional Program provides the opportunity for players in regional areas to access coaching, coach education, referee education and the chance to represent South Australia at an international tournament in Fiji in December.

Cristiano has visited Broken Hill on numerous occasions while this will be Tiarn’s first visit to the region. Tiarn brings with her a wealth of football knowledge from her 20-plus years of playing experience and is looking forward to witnessing the junior football talent in Broken Hill.

The training session will be held at Broken Hill Soccer Association on Monday at 5:00pm.
