Fiji then started with the shortstop Inoke advancing on a base on balls.
Joelie McGoon grounded out to shortstop with Inoke then reaching 3rd and then scored on a hit to right field for a well deserved win.

The tight pitching dual between Guam’s JOHN PANGELINAN AND Palau’s DULEI, Kalson #14 is a good indicactor of the Medal rounds over the next 2 days.
Young Jathan Barnes (Guam Shortstop) took two match saving dives and Jim Reyes (Guam ) hit a towering home run to right field to register the first home run hit in this series (there have been 2 inside the park )
