No games without them!
Nearly 4,700 people, all smiles and highly motivated, are giving more than 100,000 hours of their time: ticket sellers, media assistants, team welcome, Village assistants, drivers… They are there to make sure the organisation and the competitions run smoothly, and to help the public and athletes so that everything runs smoothly.
A big “Good on ya!” to them. Keep up the good work with your “Pacific Attitude”!

242 medical volunteers
181 Numa-Delay Stadium volunteers (Opening Ceremony, athletic events, football and rugby)
Over sixty volunteers, trained in sorting for recycling, make-up “environment squads”. They operate on eight sports venues.
