Wednesday Feb 26 -  Round 2

 

3192 V JEMS

Ct 2- 6.30pm

A very competitive game on court two tonight between 3192 and JEMS. Both teams played extremely well throughout the entire game, keeping the score very close up until the last quarter. Well done to both teams for their skills tonight and to JEMS for winning the game with a score of 26 to 19 for 3192. Best on court was awarded to Ariana Peters from 3192.

 

The Pelicans V The Givens

Ct 3- 6.30pm

Well done to both teams for a great game tonight between The Pelicans and The Givens. The Givens were running so fast on the court and were great with their interceptions, but The Pelicans worked really hard as a team to score more goals. Well done to The Pelicans for winning with a score of 30 points to 14 points for The Givens. Congratulations to Kobe from The Pelicans for being awarded best on court.

 

The Real Housewives of East Malvern V Blue Fields

Ct 2- 7.10pm

A great game on court two tonight between The Real Housewives of East Malvern and Blue Fields. The score were quite close throughout the entire game, with only one point difference at quarter time. Well done to The Real Housewives of East Malvern for taking the lead and winning the game with a final score of 23 points to 19 for Blue Fields. Congratulations to Danielle Forward from Blue Fields for being awarded best on court.

 

LINKS V Vicious and Delicious

Ct 3- 7.10pm

Well done to LINKS and Vicious and Delicious for a very competitive game of netball tonight. Both teams were very competitive which made this a very exciting game to watch! Having only slightly stronger defence, LINKS managed to take the win. Well done to both teams and to LINKS for winning with a final score of 22 goals to 14. Congratulations to Alice Nowicki from Vicious and Delicious for being awarded best on court.

 

Black Gems V Rockstars

Ct 1- 7.50pm

Great game on court 1 between these two strong teams. The ball was flying down the court constantly and flew into the goals for both teams. Black Gems and Rockstars had a strong defending force which challenged the shooters here and there. Overall the Black Gems won with a score of 31 to 28. Amazing effort to Nina Weeks for being awarded best on court from Rockstars.

 

Bayside Ballers V Spanakopita

Ct 2- 7.50pm

Both teams were quite equal in strength until the last quarter where Bayside Ballers broke away and were down by a few goals. Congratulations to both teams for a great game and to Mim McGraw from Spanakopita for being awarded best on court. The final scores was 18 to 15 leading to Spanakopita with the win.

 

Interschool Sport V Joint Forces

Ct 3- 7.50pm

Brilliant game between Interschool Sport and Joint Forces on court 3 tonight.  These teams do know how to put on a performance with there long lobs from the midcourt to the goals. The final score of this match was 24 to 23 making the Joint Forces the winners. Well done to Penny Panayi for being awarded best on court.

 

The Unknowns V Goalden Guns

Ct 2- 8.30pm

A really good game on court 2 tonight with every player pushing themselves really hard to make great intercepts and leads all over the court. The Unknowns took the lead in the first and carried their lead towards the last quarter. Both teams played really well and the game resulted in the Unknowns winning with a score of 26 to 13. Well done to Kari McCormack for being awarded best on court.

 

TBA V Obstruction 2.0

Ct 3 8.30pm

A great game on court 2 tonight with both teams working really hard to move the ball quickly and accurately around the court. These two mixed teams have a lot of passion when it comes to netball, both were very supportive and uplifting everytime there team shot a goal. Obstruction 2.0 won with a score of 21 to 21. Congrats to both teams and to Ilya Giannopoulou for being awarded best on court.

 

Dee-termined V The Ringleaders

Ct 1- 9:10pm

A close game on court 1 tonight. The first quarter saw Dee-termined take a lead of three goals. The second and third quarter saw this lead only grow by one goal in each quarter as  Ringleaders continued to fight back. Congrats to Isabel Clarke for being awarded best on court from the winning team The Ringleaders. The match result was 36 to 32, such a close game!

 

Sugma’s V Seven Little Squids

Ct 2- 9:10pm

Another tight match tonight on court 2 with both the strong teams thats start with ’S’. Throughout the first half the midcourt sped down the court insanely that the ball would be in the goal ring in less then a second! The defenders from both ends were awesome at maintaining every rebounding there posession. Sugma’s won with a score of 12 to 8, well done! Shoutout to Hayley Carter for also being awarded best on court.

 

The Magic Wanderers V Frochos

Ct 3 - 9:10pm

On court 3 tonight was another intense game with our mixed comp. The ball spent a lot of time changing its place by being and down the court. Many intercepts and loose balls were picked up by both teams keeping it in play. Well done to Michaela Jones for being awarded best on court from the winning team Frochos, who won with a score of 17 to 11.

 

Stingers V Giants Herds

Ct 2- 9:50pm 

A very close game tonight on court 2. Only a goal difference for the whole game! Both teams contested the ball with strength and were very determined to win. Unfortunately it wasn’t enough for Giant Herds to win as the other team got a few more goals in. Well done to Stingers for winning with a score of 20 to17 and to Belinda Robinson for being awarded best on court.

 

The Boys who made me do it V P&H

Ct 3- 9:50pm

Kicking off the end of the night The boys who made me do its and P&H played high quality netball. Both teams never gave up and continued to always go for the ball. Overall P&H won with a score of 26 to 14. They couldn’t of done it with out Joshua Dunn who was awarded best won court.
