Trials for PlayStation 4 NPL (2017) teams will be held over four consecutive weeks in October 2016.

Prior to the Trial dates, players must register online through the Olympic FC Website.

All information regarding trials can be found on our website.

The top 32 players will be selected during the trial process.

The top 16 players form each age group will be selected to play for Olympic in the PlayStation 4 NPL 2017 season whilst the next best 16 players (if agreeable) will be selected to play for Olympic FC in their respective Division 1 teams in the Football Brisbane competition.

Youth Men	MONDAY 3rd 10th, 17th, 24th ,   WEDNESDAY 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th And THURSDAY 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th	7:15pm – 8:15pm

Team selections will be finalized ONE week after trials have been concluded. Whether a player is successful or not, all trialists will be notified via email and post.

How You Will Be Assessed

Player Criteria – players will not only be assessed on their footballing skills but the coaching panel will be looking at a player’s attitude as well. 

• Football Attitude – how a player reacts to his coach and his peers during the trial process.
• Fitness Levels – players are expected to demonstrate that they are able to sustain a 75 minute training session.
• Skill Level – players are expected to have and show a very high level of football skills.
• Appearance – players are expected to attend trials in appropriate football attire.

Training Session and Assessments:

• Ball Skills: Ball Control – Dribbling – Passing (Short and Long) – Heading
• Defending: Tackling and Defending to retrieve a ball in game sessions
• Running: Sprinting for Speed Training
• Discipline: Attention to Discussions and Instructions – Task Completion – Respect for all Coaches.

Please Note: This is extremely important

Parents and or Guardians – We advise all parents and guardians from the start of the trial process that players will be selected according to the criteria above. Under no circumstances will Parents and Guardians have any involvement in the trial and selection processes. The decision of the selection panel will be final and NO discussion will be entered into after their decision has been finalised.

Payment for Club Services

Once a player has been offered a PlayStation 4 NPL position they will have 7 days to accept their position in a team. The acceptance of a place will be completed when 60% of the registration fee has been paid. Please see the payment terms and conditions of the club for further details. Failure to meet this financial component of your placement will mean forfeiture of your position in this team. This fee is non-refundable. (See Terms and Conditions).

All players will be assessed by the Technical Director and the appointed coach of the team you will be trialing for.
