Aussie Hoops Program Information

Aussie Hoops is Basketball Australia’s official junior game development program for children 5-7 years.

Aussie Hoops enables participants of all abilities the opportunity to learn basketball in a structured, inclusive and safe environment, developing physical fitness, social skills and an understanding of the sport while having fun.

The program will be delivered on a Tuesday  after school each week for 10 weeks, commencing Tuesday 7th MARCH 2023. We have one session for preps and one session for those in grade one or those 8 year olds who would like some skill development before advancing into a competition game situation. Each session runs for 45 minutes.

Starts Tuesday 9th Aug and runs for 10 weeks-excluding Vic school hols
4.15pm - Prep & One Girls
5.00pm - Grade Prep Boys
5.45pm - Grade One Boys

$75.00 YMBA Fee

$5.00 Basketball Victoria Player Fee

$4.50 Basketball Australia Player Fee

NEW PARTICIPANTS - Will need to purchase the compulsory Aussie Hoops Starter Pack $42.99 (includes personalised Hoops singlet, stickers, Size 4 basketball)

RETURN PARTICIPANTS - Additional merchandise may be purchased, if required. A new ball may be purchased for $25.59 if a new one is needed for this year, when registering.
