In Division 2 Scott Cridge from Strathpine won the medal for the best and fairest player. This is a bit of a first as Scott has never played Aussie Rules before, he just walked in off the street to give our code a go after playing Rugby union and league in the past. Adam Holland the coach out at the Swans did not know where to play him so he just ran him on the ball as a ruck rover and the rest is history,Scott Crough from Kedron was second with Greg Brookes from Logan and Clint Robson from Beenleigh tying for third. Cameron Colvin from the Strathpine won the goalkicking trophy with 80 goals.

The Division 2 reserve grade best and fairest medal went to Mark Kennedy from Logan, with team mate Bruce Cure and Tim Deffner tying for second, Cory Bicknell from Robina was third. Allan Corrie gave a rousing speech when he collected his goalkicking award in this division with 66 goals for the season.

All in all the night was a resounding success except for a couple of errors in the power point presentation which gave the crowd something to cheer about and stick it yours truly.
