FRANKSTON ANNOUNCES NEW COACH

Simon is a past Frankston player having spent seasons 1992-1993 & 1994 – for a total of 47 games – with the Dolphins.

Simon is a legendary figure to those who follow MPNFL Football and could be rightly considered as having put MPNFL Football “on the map”.

Simon has had a wonderful grounding of football experience having spent playing time at Geelong, Frankston & Mornington.

His coaching/leadership and goalkicking record at Mornington are well recorded in the record books.  In more recent times he has been a Forwards Coach with Rodney Eade at the Bulldogs and also worked with goalkicking skills with Hawthorn.

In 2009 he was the Assistant Coach with Gary Ayres at Port Melbourne.

The Frankston Club believes he will bring a new dimension to the Club in the areas of youth development, community involvement and being part of our great club for all the right reasons.

Simon will concentrate on building our team from the huge array of young local talent in our surrounding areas.

We expect his appointment to be well received by his many followers on the Mornington Peninsula.
