Michael Whippy - Fiji Coach of the Year
Basketball Fiji had nominated Lydia Sokosoko for the Technical Official award and Michael Whippy for the Coach of the Year awards. The awards was held on Saturday evening which was well attended by the sporting federations. Yes Basketball in Fiji has grown and at the moment teams are preparing for the Fiji Games which will be held in the Western Division during the Easter weekend. Lautoka and Nadi association will be organising the tournament. Club games are full on in the 4 centres and players are enjoying their club games.
