Junior Kids Shooting Hoops!
Over the past week Mark Seccombe AYAD and FIBA Oceania representative has been running basketball clinics as another method to try and enhance children’s participation in basketball. The two week Multi Sport Camp organised by Fiji Sports Council and Sport Academy Program has been very successful as children participate in many different sports from basketball and netball to soccer and outrigger canoeing! All interested youths are welcome to join the camp at the Vodaphone Arena and surrounding facilities beginning at 8:30am til 3:30pm every day til the conclusion of the week. Basketball Fiji is excited about the prospect of engaging more children through these multi sport camps. Many of the children have never played before and they have immediately taken to the sport enjoying the skills and games on offer and thus producing a smile from ear to ear!
