RAIWAQA STARTS ITS JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

RBA hosted 60 kids ages 10-17 at Ed's court on Fiji Day to kick start its junior development program. Headed by the faithful team of coaches and management the kids indulged themselves in basic skills training, lunch and ice cream. Co-ordinator Saula Koroi who is also the coach of the national under 20 men's team was on hand to marshall his troops into the various tasks set out for the youngsters. "Basketball is the heart of Raiwaqa, its the sport that kept us on the right path and motivated to do more than just average" mentioned Koroi. RBA is grateful to Twisties for suppling the kids with snacks and the Fiji Prisons for donating the lunch. Clinics will continue through the 8 weeks school holidays.
