National Trials conducted in Lautoka
National Men's and Women's Coaches (Saula Koroi, Leonard Whippy and Laisiasa Puamau) conducted an open trials in Lautoka for interested players wanting to represent Fiji from the burning West. 14 players were selected into the Western Training Squad. The Western Training Squad will continue to train under the watchfull eyes of the Lautoka Basketball Association officials and will travel down to Suva to join the Eastern Training Squads twice per month. Following the trials, National coaches handed BF Level 1 Coaching Certificates to participants who attended a coaching clinic in the month of June, 2013.
