Basketball Fiji President, Mr Iowane Naivalurua opened the conference at 10.00am and introduced the Women's Team Coach, Mr Poseci Moce to make the presentation of uniforms to the players.

The men's team received their uniforms from Manager Ms Mere Ritova as Coach Lai Puamau was held up at University.

Several parents took the opportuniy to attend and later exchanged thoughts over morning tea.

Having received their uniforms, as their photo and uniform number was displayed on the screen, the players changed quickly into their gear and the media had a field day, shooting lots of film and video.

In the evening the players attended a meeting to be addressed by Mr Albert Miller on preparation for attending an international event and also he spoke with the players about the things to do while travelling to a distant country.  His advice was well received by the players and coaches.

Following this presentation the players were shown a power point presentation on Guam and the UOG Fieldhouse (the venue for the tournament) and also much detail about Guam, its weather and services, etc. 

The session finished with a review of the new rule changes.
