FIJI PRESENTS TANOAS IN GUAM

The tanoa is the Fijian traditional kava bowl and while we are not sure that Tony and Steve will use them for this purpose, it will be a reminder of the warmth of Basketball Fiji personnel at the tournament.

In addition to these dignatories at the cultural night there were also Barbara Wheadon, President of FIBA Oceania, Patrick Hunt, President of the Oceania Zone of Basketball Coaches and Zoran Radovic, FIBA Development Officer. Unfortunately, FIBA President Mr Bob Elphinston missed this wonderful evening as he flew back to Australia that day.
