Basketball Fiji Office closed for Christmas and New Year's Break!

The office of the Basketball Federation of Fiji will be officially closed for business from Monday 22 December and re-open Monday 5th January 2009.

National basketball development officer Fanny Simpson is taking a well deserved break after a busy and hectic year, and Australian youth ambassador for development  Mark Secoombe since arriving here two months ago.  They will be  rearing to go at the start of 2009 with the development camps scheduled to be held in Lautoka and Suva in the second and third weeks of January.

Basketball Fiji looks forward to an exciting and fruitful year in 2009, and thank all those who worked tirelessly for the Federation in either their official BF positions, as volunteers and/or behind the scene in 2008 to keep the sport alive and active.

A big vinaka to the FIBA Oceania staff Steve and Judy Smith and Regan Kama for their patience and understanding throughout 2008,  keeping us always well informed and updated of all events and information we needed to know, and reminding us to do things we may have forgotten! What would we have done without you all!! It was a real pleasure working with with you and we  look forward to the same in 2009!
