Business House Basketball Competition

A Suva Business House Basketball Competition has been organised by Basketball Fiji on the 20th October. The game venue for the tournament will be the Vodafone Arena.

This year we hope to build on the growing excitement surrounding our sport after an extremely impressive inaugural Post Fiji Kaji Basketball Primary Schools Competition and a very successful Easter National Championship in the Men and Women division.

The Business House Basketball Competition has been a prominent annual feature on our sports calendar for many years, but this year with new executives in office,   recently appointed National Development Officer Laisiasa Puamau, and the inclusion of the Australian Youth Ambassador for Development, Mark Seccombe - a new vision for the development of basketball in our country is evident.  With this in mind we aim to have an increased participation base and enthusiasm surrounding this year’s competition.

The main aim of the Business House Basketball Competition is to build a good rapport between participating companies through friendly rivalry of their employees on the basketball court, and to develop an awareness of this wonderful sport with the business community in Fiji.

The theme of the tournament will be “A Business House for a Change” and we hope that your company will take up the challenge and join all the enthusiastic companies that are waiting in anticipation for the start of the competition.
