Lismore, Ballina, Casino and Tweed Coast were lucky enough to receive visits from Gold Coast SUNS Players with local kids grabbing the chance to show off their skills.

GC SUNS local Jared Ellis was a crowd favourite in Lismore having played Junior football on the Northern Rivers, while new GC SUNS recruit Jarrod Garlett was idolised by the Casino youngsters.
The Northern Rivers ‘Girls Play Too’ campaign continued to grow on the weekend with several Clubs signing on numerous girls for the U12 all female competition.
AFL Northern Rivers Juniors President Bob Lodge said the 2015 season is shaping up to be better than ever with AFL on the Northern Rivers really starting to make its mark.
