Kiwi's advance to Semi-Finals at June Bevan Individuals

In the Boys Singles, Raymond Ke will play the number one seed Danial Guda (NSW), while Daniel Lee will play the number two seed, Anthony Joe (ACT), who defeated another Northern NZ player, Vivian Washington in their quarter-final match.

In the Girls Singles, Rayna Phillips and Kaitlyn McLeod both advanced to the semi-final after defeating their Australian opponents. Ranya (seeded 5/8) defeated the 3/4 seed Grace Ngaim (Qld) 21-10, 21-9, while Kaitlyn knocked out Australian u19 representative Joy Lai 21-11, 21-8.

In the semi's Rayna plays the number 1 seed Jennifer Tam from NSW, and Kaitlyn plays the number 2 seed Alice Wu from Victoria

In the Boys Doubles, the Northen NZ number one seeded pair of Daniel Lee & Raymond Ke moved into the semi-final with a win over a pair from Queensland 21-19, 21-12. A second Northern NZ pair, Daniel Hillier & Vivian Washington are in the second semi-final after defeating a NSW pair 21-17, 21-17.

The third Northern pair in the quarter finals, David Liang & Kevin Zhang lost to the number 2 seeds Daniel Guda/Austin Yu (NSW) 21-13, 21-19. Guda/Yu now play Daniel Hillier/Vivian Washingtion in one semi, while Daniel Lee/Raymond Ke face the number 3/4 seeded pair Anthony Joe (ACT)/Gavin Ho (Vic).

The number one seeds in the Girls Doubles (Rayna Phillips/Kaitlyn McLeod) moved into the semi's with a straight games win  21-8, 21-7 over the Rigg sisters from Victoria. They now play the unseeded pair of  Lee-Yu Khoo/Josephine Lu (SA) in one semi-final.

The familiar names of Daniel Lee and Rayna Phillips moved into the Mixed Doubles semi's with a 21-16, 21-16 win over the Queensland paid of Clive Law and Grace Ngiam. After winning the first game Daniel & Rayna found themselves down 5-11 at the break in the second game, but calming words of wisdom from coach Tom Armstrong saw them win the next 7 points take the lead 12-11.
