Victoria Cheng (AKL) and Lilian Shih won triple titles at the New Zealand u17 and u15 Championships respectively. To win a triple title is something special, showing dominance in your age group across all disciplines: singles, doubles and mixed doubles. Victoria and Lilian join Jessica Jonggowisastro who won triple titles at the u19 Championships with this honour for 2009
In the under 15 age group, team mates Kerwyn Lee and Dylan Soedjasa from North Harbour split the titles between them with each winning two. Dylan won the boys singles and boys doubles with Kerwyn and was runner-up in the mixed doubles while Kerwyn won the mixed doubles and boys doubles and was runner-up in the boys singles.
