Neil plays for the United Badminton Club in Dunedin which is a member of Otago Badminton Association.
He told Badminton NZ that 'i have been playing badminton since I was 10 years old so that is ahem ahem......21 years now. I started off in Palmerson Otago as my mother coached us school children and then joined the senior club the next year. I was club captain, handicapped singles champion and runner up in the open singles in my last year for the club at the age of 17 and then moved to Dunedin. I have ben playing in the Otago B grade for the last 3 years for the United team and I look forward to showing my two sons how to play when they get a bit older."
Congratulations to Neil, he wins 2 brand new racquets and 2 tubes of feather shuttles.
Badminton NZ is now being assisted by Concept Creative22 with rebranding of the 'old' kiwibadminton programme. A name will be announced at the AGM.
