Bay of Plenty Badminton Association End of Season Awards

Saturday the 10th of September saw the Annual Bay of Plenty Badminton End of Season Awards night. This year it was Held at Te Puke Citizens club and guest speak was Badminton New Zealand CEO Nicki Martin. Nicki gave a very interest speech in to the future direction Badminton New Zealand was hoping to go, at a time of great change in the organisation. It was also a great opportunity for some questions to be fired at here from your average Joe members of clubs from around the Bay. Although there wasn’t as great a representation from all clubs in the Bay, there was still plenty of good natured humour flying about and a good night was had by all. Several awards were given out with the winners were presented with prizes, a summary of the awards winners are below.
