JUNIOR INTERLEAGUE READY TO RUMBLE
Fielding eight teams ranging from under 13s to under 16s including a combined Western Youth Girls team with the Essendon District FL, the WRFL will compete in the Metro Championships and 2015 Junior Interleague Carnival against the best juniors from across metropolitan Melbourne.
While the majority of matches will be played over the Queen’s Birthday long weekend, five of our WRFL teams have already taken to the field against the South East Juniors on Wednesday night.
We wish all our Junior Interleague coaches the very best of luck this season and thank them for their time and effort during the many weeks of training and team selections to ensure our best juniors are game-day ready.
Thanks also goes to the various trainers, officials and volunteers involved in bringing the day together as well as Flemington Juniors, Wyndhamvale, North Sunshine, Altona and the Werribee Football Clubs for hosting our various interleague matches.
Show your support for the huge amount of junior talent in the league and head out to one of the many junior interleague matches over the three weeks.
