The Senior league looks stronger, with almost all clubs confident of fielding sides in the Under 18, Reserves and Senior competitions.
Grafton and the Northern Beaches will combine again and field three grades under Grafton name. This is also the case with the Swans, Port Macquarie and Sawtell, where they are renowned for their depth in numbers. North Coffs look like they will not field an Under 18s side, whereas Nambucca Valley are quietly confident of fielding sides in all grades.
In the Juniors, Bellingen and Nambucca will combine again and field sides in all grades except the Under 16s. Swans and Sawtell will field sides in all grades, as should North Coffs- where they hope to make an Under 16s side for the first time in many years in a great sign for the league and the hard work Greg Robson and his committee have done. Northern Beaches will struggle to form an Under 16s side, but their Under 14s should be particularly strong given that their players in this age group are now in the older bracket.
A formatted draw for the Juniors has been tabled at the last Junior meeting on Thursday. A summary of its structure can be seen by viewing the AFL North Coast Juniors link.
