Whilst details are still secretive and unconfirmed, it promises to be a action-packed day, with plenty planned to entertain locals on the Coffs Coast.
Regional Manager, Shane McAloon announced a few of the attractions at last night's Junior league meeting. Large registration and information domes will be set up in which people can catch up with the history of the game and sign up for their local clubs.
There will also be a special guest, whose identity is not known. We know that they will be an AFL ambassador. Hence it could be anyone ranging from Dipper, to Nathan Buckley, to Luke Darcy etc.
Also there will be a local band performing on the night in what will cap off a tremendous day in which the game is brought to the people.
The local AFL are seeking volunteers to help make the day a success. Anyone interesting should contact the AFL North Coast office on 66526560.
More details will follow as they are made available.
