The Esso Blazers have been the team to beat the entire summer; Although Shaolin and Mattyssports gave them a few
challenges, Esso seemed to have the expereince and the talent to withstand any storm. But as it neared the end of
summer, the Blazers found themselves without 3 of their top players; Samuel and Shaad O'Garro and Davion Cotterell.
Even though the Blazers still had Perry Levy, David Taylor, Kevin Maxwell and Rotando Thompson, they still had to face
a Shaolin team that was finally gelling together the way most Shaolin fans had expected. Shaolin was able to overcome
their nemesis quite comfortably despite a late Esso run. Shaolin has won its first championship since 2005.
