The 2009 AFL Recreational Football season will kick - off in the week of the 5th October, 2009.
The competition began back in 2004 with 8 teams participating at Morningside AFC. In 2008, the competition had grown to around 100 teams from nine competitions in South East Queensland.
The first week will be a Come `n' Try night with information and registration. The following week will be round 1 of fixtures in the 8 week competition.
