Throwing Stones defeated Norfolk N Way 8-4 Simon Smith led the way for the stones on his way to 4 touchdowns and provided the main impetus in their attacking moves to be best on ground. The stones improved defence was evident for most part however when Norfolk N Way dumped at speed holes opened up in the middle of the park allowing Tim Atkinson and Dean Borg to take advantage with 2 touchdowns for Atkinson and a trademark shimmy and weave move for Borg to score.
